Question / Help Video Lag

Ok so I see a lot of people posting that they are having their game start lagging when they start running OBS... I don't have a problem with in game lag... My issue is with the recording the game. When I start recording my game runs the same, no lag no random freezes but when I go back and look at the video I recorded I see a lot of the character freezing or standing in place when I was moving. The video will show my character standing in place then suddenly jump ahead then standing in place and then jumping instead of the straight run I did. Also when fighting in game it runs smoothly but when you look at the video it is all choppy and you can hear the character fighting but again it is just standing there looking like nothing is happening then suddenly the video will go to mid fight and it is all jumpy there too. How do I fix this?

Your CPU is awful, so you'll need to downscale to 360p or 480p or some other low resolution. Don't expect good results.
