Video is very laggy at 1080p and even 720p. I need recommended settings for my setup.

Hi,

I really want to start recording CS:GO surf gameplay and funny moments with friends in comp but I want quality and 60 fps. The problem is, when I record, OBS drops frames and stutters. I have the following system specs:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: XFX RX 580
RAM: 16 GB 3200 mHz
OS: Windows 10 Home
2 1080p Displays @ 60 Hz
SSD: WD Blue 500GB
HDD: WD Blue 600 GB from 2008

I can easily play CS:GO at over 100 FPS, even on high settings at 1080p, though I have it on very low for OBS. I will include a screenshot of my settings and a test video I've filmed in 720p (yes, I've tried that) that has very bad stuttering. I am using VLC if that is the issue.

I've also tired setting the priority of OBS to high in Task Manager and running as admin, I still got encoder overload.
