Question / Help Video is choppy when recording

Trying to record some Fortnite games with a friend, and when I record the video is very choppy. My game is fine and I don't lag at all, but the recording is the problem.

System: Windows 10 Home
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.41 GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745
Ram: 8.00 GB

OBS log is missing and you shouldn't be saving directly to mp4.

added log file, and what should i save it to other than mp4?

If you absolutely require multi-track audio, mkv.
Use the remux recordings function in the file menu of obs if you need an mp4 for editing.

Not if you don't provide your obs log.

Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 235 (28.1%)
Your graphics card has not enough breathing room to render the OBS scene in time.
Reduce GPU load and try again. Maybe just buy a faster graphics card, as the GTX 745 is very old and slow.
