Question / Help Video grainy when recording

Hello, I want to record some videos for YouTube using my laptop face cam and obs, recording is set to 1080p yet the video looks grainy and quality is bad. My iPhone 10 makes much better recordings.

I’m not streaming anything I just want to record, save the video, be able to edit it later, and then upload to YouTube. Suggestions on what settings need changed?

Set colorspace to 709 - partial.
Most videoplayers will expect that format.

thanks @Zidakuh , I think I found my problem even though my laptop is only a few months old its a asus vivobook s14 apparantly after reading some reviews it has a terrile quality vga webcam only capable of 640x480, its kinda shocking thats even a thing sold on new laptops.

So do you guys suggest I just buy a plug in usb webcam off amazon? I seen the logitech hd c920 - https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wid...words=webcam#HLCXComparisonWidget_feature_div

The C920 and C930e is essentially the same thing. The C930e might be capable of 720p60.
I'm not sure though.
