Question / Help Video freezing randomly

I've read on other threads here from some years back that the two fixes to frozen videos are:
1. reboot
2. reduce frame rate
I've done both, and my fps is 25. Yet still this problem occurs.

Freeze happens at 3:26 for the video: '2018-08-03 14-58-17.mp4'. The computer wasn't touched throughout this recording, so no new apps were started.
My pc is pretty high spec to be able to handle video recording: Lenovo 'Yoga' with Core i7.
Please help!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think a laptop with an i7-8550U and only an Intel iGPU can be called "high spec". The Lenovo Yoga line PCs are basically tablet PCs. Intel CPUs with the "U" designation are "Ultra-low power" meant for lower power consumption and therefore generally less powerful.

That said, there is no recording attempt in the log file you provided.
