video freezing but audio continues

in my live stream last night, the video froze multiple times. however, the audio continued to be broadcast. the only solution i could come up with was to stop the stream, close obs, reopen obs, then restart the stream. attached are the stream logs.

my first thought was the USB dongle malfunctioning, however with the audio still streaming, i'm not so sure.

other thoughts could be the elgato capture card malfunctioning but, i wanted to make sure it wasn't just an OBS issue before purchasing a new capture card

You don't mention which Elgato capture card you're using but. I have been using a Elgato Cam link 4K for some time and have in the past had it freeze up, the problem was that it was overheating because I had a habit of laying it in front of the laptops cooling exhaust, and it would overheat if I hang it out and open air I have not had any problems.
If the video does freeze, if you will have your camera source highlighted, there will be a button appear just above there that says deactivate, press the button to deactivate about a second later press it again to reactivate you will get a black screen momentarily but you don't have to shut the whole thing down.

HI, hope you gaving good my problem was free space in ssd/hd, even with 8gb of free space, starts freezing my screen recording, after. realse some space (now about 22gb) I can recording the screen fine... try to realse some space in your storage...
