I've been googling this for the past few days, this problem seems new I never had issue with it a year ago.
When starting up OBS (admin mode) and starting Dark Souls 3 (windowed mode), the game capture works perfect, the second I switch focus off DS3, the game capture freezes on last thing shown and never resumes movement when DS3 comes back into focus. The only way I can fix this or work around it, is restart OBS and the game and never click off the game, always leaving it in focus.
This is a pain, even an accidental switch will screw up my stream. Window capture just leaves a white screen the entire time, never shows the game once even with focus on DS3, so not sure what to do there.
People on steam forums have suggested turning off steam overlay, which has never been on. I've even seen suggestions for turning off anti-cheat, which I'm not sure you can in DS3 or if it even has it, but ultimately is an option I would like to avoid...
The image I uploaded show's what is happening, the game has progressed but the 'stream' has frozen in OBS
Sorry if this has been answered before but as I stated I've been searching for an answer and I can't find one that fixes my particular problem...
Edit: The funny part is, the "capture cursor" never seems to stop working just the game capture itself.
