Question / Help Video file HELP!

Hey There

I was recording

And all of sudden. Windows update shows up and restarts my computer.
I was recording the game and the recording stopped recording and now i have a broken video file. Is there anyway
that i could make it work again. For it was over 1,5 hours of footage

Unfortunately there aren't any good ways to recover a corrupt MP4 file that I know of. FLV files are more resilient to this type of problem, so going forward you should probably use that instead (and/or configure Windows Update so that it doesn't force a reboot automatically).

FLV is a good way to prevent that from happening, and it can be transmuxed to MP4 later.

Very likely not, MP4 files are finicky and easily corrupted unfortunately
