Question / Help Video Encoder Fail.

I am attempting to use the NVENC H.264 Video Encoder. When I press Record, it says "Starting the output failed. Please check log for details."
Followed by "Note If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date."

If someone could please assist me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Turn off Game DVR. You may be overutilizing the encoder (which... I honestly didn't believe the 920m had, but apparently it's GK208, which should).

Side note, update your OBS software. Latest version is 22.0.2.

Updated the software. Still not working. Can't find online how to disable Game DVR. Can you walk me through it?

The 920M doesn't actually support nvenc.

So I have to use x264 as 920M won't support NVENC?

unless quicksync is available as an option yes.

QuickSync is available. Would I use the same settings on QuickSync as NVENC?
