Most people of these days use VLC as a great video player instead of a video editor. There are more and more software companies developing video editors since the rapid growth of short videos on IG, YTB, TikTok, etc. I'm a newbie at video editing. And I do search a lot before downloading a video editing software because of my mid-end computer and tight budget.
Many free versions have unendurable limitations, watermarks, low output quality, etc. But I came across a top list that recommended free video editors without these drawbacks, because most of them are open-source software like Shotcut, Kdenlive, etc.
