Hey gang -
This may very well be a, "Jason, you're an idiot. You do it like so..." type of question. If so, just tell me that and point me in the right direction. :-)
My source is an ultra widescreen 3440x1440 input. I was streaming/recording that, which looks a bit goofy on YouTube. The recordings were easy to handle because I'd just crop the 3440x1440 to 2560x1440 within Premiere Pro automatically. The video would be auto-centered within the NLE.
Yesterday I experimented with recording/outputting 2560x1440 to see if OBS tried to scale or crop the vid. Much to my delight: it crops the vid. Cool! The only potential snare is it requires the user to center the 1440p "view port" over the 3440x1440 input.
So, question: is there a way to auto-center that 1440p crop? That way I don't have to do it manually (and inevitably screw it up)?
Thanks!
