Question / Help video comes up but no sound with capture device easycap

just as the name states. I got this type of easy cap from a friend, the video pops up fine but I cant seem to get the sound coming out of anywhere.

Obs is up to date. Any ideas?

Do the bars move in the OBS Mixer area under the source's name? If yes, go to Edit -> Advanced Audio Properties and enable monitoring on the source to hear it out of your speakers.

They are not moving. they have the vollume hjighlighter in the bar, but its stuck in place as below.

Hmm. Try going to the properties for the Video Capture Device and click "Configure Video". There may be options there related to audio.
 
I would try connecting the audio output from your video source to your soundcard rather than the Easycrap
