I managed to get OBS to not crash on starting a preview, as discussed here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/preview-stream-crash.52594/ . But now the preview shows this: http://i.imgur.com/vEtCvPN.png The source is a Easycap USB device with an old CRT TV plugged into it. My "Properties" settings for it look like this: http://i.imgur.com/uEYy5bN.png

Is there anything I could do with these settings that might fix the problem? And what about the options you get after clicking "configure"? I tried the 3 different NTSC options combined with various custom resolutions, but I either got the same black box (with or without the line of coloured pixels at the bottom), or the crashing problem returned.
Or could the problem be caused by something else entirely? I'm at a loss here, my half-baked trial and error approach isn't cutting it. If you think you know how to fix this, please let me know.
