Video Capture Source freezes

I use OBS on Mac and Windows, but with Windows I experienced that when I use the same Video Capture Source (Canon eos 250d through eos webcam utility) for two different scenes, the video freezes when i fade from one scene to another, then I have to reload the source just to make it work again.

I do the same thing with my mac but I don't experience any issues with the same situation, it works perfectly fine.

Can someone help me with this? thanks a lot.

This is because most webcam sources can only be accessed by one program at a time. If you have added a second Video Capture Source, using 'add new' instead of 'add existing' to the second scene, it will cause this behavior.
Delete the video capture source from the second scene, then use 'add existing'.
