Video capture problems

Hi. I've using obs recently, but i could use the previous version to the current one, and at that time, it worked with no mayor issues. But this last version, is getting me annoyed. I'm using to capture from an Hdmi device and just for that. I'm using to capture tv shows from a tv box, many of the captured (or non captured) scenes are hard (or impossible) to get from another sources, so I need a perfect capturing when needed, and OBS provided me that until this update. The exact issues are 1) sometimes video capturing skips frames, misses frames (many frames), and in practice, I am recording, but it's missing important frames, and that annoys me too much. 2) Sometimes while recording, capture window flickers, and that flicking is recorded as a wrong frame (and it happens precisely on the parts when I need most stable video).
These two issues makes my experience with the 28th version of this app, a bad experience, but if you include the issue (for me is an issue) that obs window doesn't remember its size before closing and is opening always on a tiny undocked window, and I have to press maximize twice to be able to maximize it, all that everytime I open it; that makes my experience worse even more.
I appreciate that this app is free but I despite this, I know it can be better, and despite I could see improvements on this last version, to me, it was working better on the previous one. I know my pc is some old, but previous version was working fine on it, so I don't think is a pc issue.

I had to downgrade to 26th OBS version to can keep maximized its window after closing it. And as aditional "bonus", that version works more stable for my needs.
I'll wait for an update that can surpass those expectatives.

I learned from experience never to go to a newer version if the one I'm using works well. There are too many things whic could cause a newer version to misbehave.
