Question / Help Video capture keeps freezing in OBS

I'm using a Razer Ripsaw Capture Card to stream ps3 games using OBS. Until recently I've never had any issues with it, but now my game capture keeps freezing in random intervals ranging from 20 seconds to 5-6 minutes.

However I can still play the game perfectly fine on my monitor. This issue just happens on OBS and therefore on stream / recording aswell. Also occurs without streaming / recording anything. Edit: Also using LiveSplit to time stuff (I'm speedrunning games). LiveSplit continues to work perfectly fine without any issues, lags etc.

Sometimes this is fixable by replugging the cables, sometimes this will just result in a blackscreen. So far restarting OBS has always "fixed" it until the next freeze.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am having the exact same problem using a MiraBox USB 3.0 HD capture card, and I will post a log as soon as possible. This problem also just started happening randomly for me over the last month too. I am a high school tech director, and we use OBS to stream our concerts and various events from our auditorium. This issue has gotten to the point where the video capture input will consistently freeze somewhere between 30 seconds to 5 minutes. The built in webcam on the laptop is not effected though.
