This has never happened to me, but I pressed f11 to minimize full screen of the game I was recording to double check that OBS was working. I double clicked the game window to maximize it, but it was still windowed, so I pressed f11 again to restore full screen to the game. This is where in the recording it froze, and I had no idea. It wasted 23 minutes of footage that I can't replace because the recording is sequential, and now I've progressed in the game to a point I can't undo, so an important part of my video is permanently missing.
Is there a way to salvage this? Why did OBS do this?
Edit: To clarify, I did not pause the recording. It continued recording audio from my mic and the computer, but the frame was frozen where it was when I pressed f11 the first time. I've pressed f11 to minimize the game many times, and this has never happened.
