Question / Help Video capture frame skip issues

Hey guys, So i've been testing OBS to capture youtube videos and save to file using the capture region option, the capture process goes well, problem is the produced video skips a lot of frames from the original one when reproduced, could this be a settings issue or is OBS not designed to capture video with smooth fps?

My comp specs:

Windows 7 ult 64bit
8gb RAM
2TB HD
2GB video memory (GeForce GT 640)

Your CPU is not strong enough to use the faster preset at 1080p. Use veryfast, and downscale to 720p. If you are still getting lagged frames, try downscaling further or using the superfast preset.

After applying the changes suggested and using the guide posted I now get super smooth videos with practically no lost frames (Ultrafast + Crf=15 worked wonders) thank you!
