Question / Help Video capture Fails on 2008 MacBook Pro

Is there a minimum hardware requirement for OBS?
I have a 2008 MacBook Pro with OSX El Capitan
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 512M

In OBS Video settings, the "Video Adapter" dropdown is greyed out.

OBS appears to work when setting it up and recording (I see my screen actions in the Scene window while recording)

However, the video it captures (in different formats such as MOV, FLV,MP4) all show up as flashing boxes/lines of color/black/purple/green.

Is my MacBook Pro just too old<?> or did i miss something in settings<?>

Log file attached.

Thank you!

Means nothing. That part isn't implemented yet

In what media player?

So none of you feel like answering my question.

Go try watching the videos with VLC before you try blaming OBS.

Same problem, same computer. Its definitly obs fault since i tried different media players, icluding vlc and i tried to stream. Always the same result. I looked up some other thing on that forum and i figured out that everybody who has this problem got a late 2008 computer or an early 2009. Its deffinitly what causes the problem, is there anyway someone might tell that to the devs so they can look it up ? Every 2009 or 2008 mackbook got it so its pretty inconvinient. I tryed alot, their is no way to fix it, no way at all, so its in the devs hand. In found out were the problem come from for everyone who has it, that's all i can do, good luck, try to tell the devs, they should read this.
