Video capture device won't show video

I recently purchased a video capture device to display my switch onto my mac but when I went to connect my switch, all I got was a black screen. However, the audio was able to connect just fine. Does anyone know whats going on, like is it my switch or the program? Any help and suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

Same here. I'm using two cameras but only 1 gets noticed.

Hola buenas, acabo de instalar OBS en mi IMac 27" 5K 2020 y al capturar ventana se me ve la imagen de la captura como a cámara lenta sin retransmitir si quiera. Y al capturar pantalla me va perfecta. Alguien sabe como poder solucionarlo

Same here. I have two video capture devices. Only one shows at a time. If I close and reopen, it will switch which capture is showing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but it has not fixed the issue .

When I plugged both into USB 3.0, it resolved the issue for me
