Sending AFTER research! This is a Magewell SDI capture device connected on USB3. This was working fine last week, now just showing black. The device has been tested successfully on another similar machine. video input works in Windows Camera app, also in the System/security area. Just doesn't seem to want to show in OBS, also doesn't show in Zoom.; device is present, can be selected, but just shows black screen on input. I have soft/hard booted the machine, re-installed OBS, reinstalled OBS with previous version, verified (as above) that signal chain works fine to another machine, tried all of the other USB ports on the PC, burned sage, prayed to Jupiter. All drivers appear to be working correctly, looks like a permissions issue.
The problem that I see is that the Privacy and Security > Camera section does NOT show OBS as an app, and also does not seem to register (in Recent activity) that the OBS program is trying to use the capture device. Anyone have any ideas what to do next?
