Question / Help Video Capture Device Not Found

Hi,

I'm having a problem getting my device to show up on OBS. It's a Hauppauge HD PVR 60. This is happening on both MacOS 10.13.6 and Windows 10, though slightly differently. On Mac, the device does not appear in the list of devices in the Video Capture Device window. The list is empty. On Windows, the device is there, but OBS isn't receiving any input from it. The device otherwise appears to be functioning. It shows up in System Information and Device Manager ("This device is working properly"), updated drivers and firmware, lights come on when plugged in, etc. I've included the log file from both MacOS and Windows. Thanks.

This device is not supported by OBS because it does not have a standard class video device driver.

From Hauppage's website:

While OBS does not support the HD PVR 60 directly as a capture device, you can use the HD PVR 60 with OBS in Window Capture mode. Do the following:
Open OBS
Open Hauppauge Capture and make the preview window as large as you can
Alt-tab back to OBS and turn on Window Capture mode: Sources=>Add=>Window Capture=>Window=>Hauppauge Capture
