Question / Help Video Capture Device, Makes OBS stop responding

When im in Preview Stream and i try to go in to Properties in Video Capture Device OBS stop responding. Im trying to set up my Green Screen and i need to be in Preview Mode for this to work.
 
Could it be because you are trying to use the device in 2 different ways, i.e. you can not use your device in OBS and at the same time use your device in Avermedia recentral
 
@jamesd1981 I totally see what you are saying about using Video Capture Device in two different way. However what else can i do to use the AverMedia LGP and ue my Logitech Web Cam? I dont use Avermedia recentral. I mean i have it i just never open it. @Sapiens The Video Capture Device is for he Web Cam, Im trying to go into properties while i am previewing the stream so i can set up my green screen. I can go into properties if im not previewing but once i hit preview OBS stops responding and i have to close it down and restart it. But no matter what i do it always stops responding. So at his point i have no green screen :(
