Question / Help Video Capture Device Appears in Preview, Not Canvas

Recently purchased an ElGato HD60 Capture Device. I'm attempting to livestream Super Mario Odyssey, but unfortunately, I get a black screen on my canvas. As you can see, OBS has detected ElGato successfully and even displays the video output correctly. However, I cannot get it to appear on the actual canvas. When I stream, all my viewers will see is black. This might be a stupid question, but why will the video output appear on my preview, but not the actual canvas? Picture below in case my question makes no sense.

It might be worth mentioning that I didn't have any other video source device (webcam, other capture cards, etc.) plugged into my computer at the time, so it's not a conflict of devices. Just need to find out why the preview in the source doesn't show up on the actual canvas.

Update: figured it out myself! All I had to do was right-click my source, go to the transform tab, and select fit to screen. Worked like a charm. This thread can now be locked. Thanks, everyone (even though no one responded...)
