Video breaks up when I click "start streaming"

The video image from my iPhone SE with the OBS camera app shows up fine in the OBS monitor. I made sure to align the settings on the phone, the OBS app, and OBS. But as soon as I click on the "start streaming" button to YouTube the image breaks up every time I move. When I hold still it seems to be fine. Am I wasting my time returning to this forum? Is this a question no one knows how to solve or maybe has never seen before? Or is it too simple and "everyone" knows how to handle it? Somebody let me know, please.

I had the same problem but came up with a silly hack for it.
My framerate was dropping to about 13fps when I started streaming, but would stay constant otherwise.
Through some miracle I left the stats view open and minimized the OBS window, suddenly I was at a constant fps rate and everything worked perfectly. I opened a window multiview screen and undocked all the other control panels for operating my stream, minimized OBS again and everything was steady.

Thank you, Broccoli23! I'll give it a try. And I'll also check the actual frame rate. I didn't know it could vary from what you'd selected.
