Before you send me away with a flea in my ear, this query is not just a simple lip-sync issue solved by adding a +/- delay in Advanced Audio Properties.
My scene consists of:
1. A Window source cropped to a Facebook live recording, of a singing keyboardist - video and audio from the page,
2. A Video Capture source, being an iPhone running NDICAM - video only
3. An Audio Input Capture of my guitar playing, from my mixing desk.
I then stream this to my Facebook page live.
The recording is great quality as I have been careful in my settings.
My guitar audio, amazingly, lines up perfectly with the Window source's output. However, my iPhone's NDICAM video looks to be around 4-600ms late.
I could delay my audio, but my total output would then be 4-600ms behind my friend's playing in the Window.
I notice that there's an optional NDI filter available in my Video Capture source called "Video Delay (Async)" BUT, unlike the sync option in Advanced Audio Properties, it only offers delay, NOT advance; no good for me in this situation. And before you ask, as this " Video Delay (Async)" is an NDI add-on, it's not available in the Window source filter menu.
What can I do to get it all lined up?
PS all the dropped frames occurred in the first few seconds of the stream
