Since no one has encountered this issue obviously since i spent 2 hours searching for a fix yet only found MICROPHONE related and not GAME AUDIO related
Im getting this open air sound... was not like this yesterday. Everything is off, no surround, nothing. All enhancements off. I tried everything and just wont work. Im using an RTX 2080 Ti to encode and my settings are up to its highest

Heres a link to a video i posted

https://twitter.com/AbnormalBuilder/status/1233224402793377792?s=20

I just cant find a fix because the audio quality just stays the same.
Note My microphone is off and game audio is feeding through my system and it sounds like its all recorded with the microphone

When was the last time you updated your Realtek drivers?
What changed on your system in software/updates between yesterday and today? Windows update?

Go to you motherboard manufacturer and update the audio drivers.

You are better off getting an audio interface box like Focusrite Scarlett or Presonus AudioBox. You have a nice i9-9900K and RTX 2080Ti like I do but you can do way better with audio. Go a step higher and you will be able to improve your audio experience with better headphones and mics. I never use onboard audio because, well, its not very good...
