Question / Help Video animation

Hey! When I used xsplit before, I could add video animations with transparent background, using chroma-key. My question Is how do I add a video file, and can I use chroma-key? Or even better does OBS have alpha channel support? Thanks!

There's this plugin: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4711 it's still work in progress though.

OBS does support chroma keying, but that's per source type, this plugin doesn't have it (yet), as far as I know. Another option would be to capture a VLC window playing your movie, window or game capture do have chroma key.

Thanks! Theres no chroma key in game capture tho.. and I cant open the video with the "Video capture device" what to do? XD

Sorry for double post! It worked out with window capture, but its a hassle, because you have to tabdown to start the video, and tabdown to pause the video. Isnt there anyother plugin that when u change scene the video starts playing? or something similar to that with chroma key? Thanks!

No, sorry, there isn't at this moment. The plugin I linked is the only one that you can use to automatically start playing videos upon starting a scene. Who knows if chroma key'll go in eventually though?
