Question / Help Video and Audio sync issues are destroying everything.

I cannot for the life of me get my Elgato, my webcam and my microphone to be synced. You think it would be just to set an offset on the mic and webcam to match the delay from the Elgato, but that doesn't work. When I boot up the stream or a preview, my Elgato has a delay of roughly 1,5 seconds, so I try to match that with by changing the microphone offset and put a buffer on the webcam. That works great for 1 minute, then the delay on the webcam reverts back to not having any delay. I tried to change the audio device on my webcam to be the microphone and not use a microphone in my obs settings, but that did not help the issue. Also if I try to adjust the buffer on my webcam mid-stream/preview, it also increases the delay on my Elgato.

My question is what am I doing wrong for the camera to keep reverting back to no delay? I can't stream like this. Is it a camera issue or a setting I've overlooked?

A lot of people have to adjust the scene buffering time. I would start all your other buffers at 0, set your scene buffering to something like 1500 or 2000 maybe, then adjust the other sync (mic, elagato, exc) from there. ensure you are not syncing audio to video from the advanced menu as well
