Question / Help Video and audio out of sync

I'm having a lot of problems with my video and audio (both in game audio and mic audio) being out of sync. Here is an example of what is happening: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/224882408?t=45m13s

and here are the obs logs: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/66529028f24ec9e342671ce4c7dc94b5

From what I notice the issue starts as soon as I stream and with time the audio gets more out of sync. I could not pin point exactly what makes it go out of sync it seems random. Any help would be appreciated.

What I've done so far:
  • I have barely if any dropped frames at all.
  • Already lowered the bitrate and the audio quality multiple times.
  • Changed the sync offset with 500, and 1500ms.
  • Formatted my machine in case it was another software conflicting with obs
  • Updated to the latest OBS version

I just record video, and I've been having the same issues. What works for me is reinstalling Realtek drivers (from Realtek's website) after each update from NVIDIA. But it doesn't last. And I don't know why. Seems to be a global issue, among all win10 devices with any recording software. Nobody seems to have a fix-all solution either.

You can also do -500, and -1500ms for an offset, as I've done in the past, ha ha. I've just been correcting the audio sync in the video editor.

I also don't run any anti-virus software, and yes windows defender is turned off, ha ha.
Look up on Google on how to disable Windows Game DVR. Although for me it didn't make any improvement, but it might for you. If you have Geforce Experience, make it's game capture is disabled as well.

Wish I had better answers for you.

Get an audio solution that offers way lower latency. Look at FocusRite Scarlett or PreSonus AudioBox as an entry level solution using ASIO drivers. I always stay away from the onboard audio chip junk.
