Question / Help Video Adapter issue?

When customizing my settings, I could not select my ADM video card, for some reason only the default (Intel) was detected. (My laptop comes with both originally and I'm using AMD to run more graphically intensive games.)
I left it at that and tried recording a short video, but all I got was a black screen though my PC can run the game itself just fine.

I assume the two are related, but I'm new to OBS (and recording gameplay as such). Anyone has any idea if I'm right and if yes, what can be done to fix this?

I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!! HELP US!!! (It just says integrated audio mic when I click device) same concept though.

One additional point: I missed the "Laptop" FAQ before posting this. Since then, I've tried the recommendation there, i.e.: using the window/monitor capture with "compatibility mode" enabled.
BUT: it still doesn't record the gameplay itself. Rather: I get the audio (OK, halfway there) but only shows a black screen.

Any ideas on how to resolve?
