I have connected my VCR and added it as a video capture device and I can see the video preview on obs.
I have added an audio input device but cannot hear audio, i have selected monitor audio in settings, there is no wave movement in the audio mixer which to me means it isnt recognising audio or video, even though video is showing and playing, but no audio is present.
I have recorded and played back the mp4, the video is there but not the audio, ive tried watching youtube videos and followed instruction, but this has me beat.
Anything im not doing? Im using an honestech vhs to dvd capture device i got on amazon, along with a scart to 3 coloured cables that ive connected to the usb.
This should be unbelievably simple to do, why its so complicated i can not fathom.
