I am trying to convert 8mm tapes to digital format. Under sources I select audio input capture, and then on the drop down I select the device I am using. But still no audio appearing on the audio mixer and no audio when I play back the video.
Also, I cannot see the video either. The device i am using is not appearing under the device dropdown when I select video capture device as the source.
Note: This is on Mac. It did work on windows but I do not have access to that computer to do all the tapes.
