Hi All, forgive me for commiting any Feaux Pas as I'm new here and wouldn't be surprised if my issue has been addressed multiple times, but I had difficulty locating thread titles similar to my topic.
I'll do my best to include as much information as possible without being redundant.
Short backstory: I'm trying to digitize VHS tapes for my job, and have encountered some technical difficulties.
I have been successful connecting my VCR to OBS using a Composite/S-Video USB capture device (I'm using the composite interface, quality isn't the biggest concern right now).
The video shows up fine in the preview window in OBS and the audio comes through fine as well, and I could watch an indefinite length of video with no issue in the preview window; however, in the recording file upon playback, without fail, around the 4 or 5 second mark, while the audio continues without issue, the video starts to play at about 1 frame every few seconds and skips along. I have spent a not-insignificant amount of time tweaking settings one-by one but to no avail.
The equipment I'm using:
Capture Card: Vidbox model number HT VIDBOX NW07
VCR: Zenith XBV 342
PC: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, Core i9-12900K, 64gb Gskill Ripjaws DDR5 that if I recall is rated for 5000MTs, but I was getting insane instability so it's downclocked (according to CPU-Z to 2800MHz, but I don't remember setting it that low), an XFX AMD Radeon 7800XT.
I've attached a couple of screenshots of my settings, and below is the link to my log file.
Please let me know if any other information would be useful, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
