Hi Everybody,
Love the new forums :)
I have a strange issue, and I really don't know why its happening.
My setup is kinda strange, as I stream simultaneously to Twitch and YouTube. My streaming PC sends to twitch, and my gaming PC sends to YouTube. Slightly different streams (1 with music, 1 without)
My upload speed on testmy is 9.8mb - and I stream @ 2000kb/s from each machine (total 4mb thereabouts)
Problem
Its happened several times now, where my Twitch OBS (on the streaming PC) drops frames then disconnects and attempts to reconnect. Around the same time my DayZ game is also beginning to crash (on my gaming PC).
The only way I can stop DayZ to crash is to close out of it, and delete the local APPDATA for DayZ.
OBS (on the streaming PC) then magically reconnects and all is good again.
Now I know everybody at this point is saying its probably my connection.... BUT the YouTube OBS stream (on the gaming PC) is going strong and doesn't drop a single frame.
Traffic Management
My ISP does have traffic management between the hours of 8am-11pm - but the disconnection happens outside of this time frame - and once the appdata files are removed - it kicks back up again fine.
Other Stuff
CPU Usage on Streaming PC is fine, sits around 40%
Temperature is fine
I am at a total loss as to why its happening, why would a game on the gaming PC mess up the connection on the streaming PC?
I know DayZ has an issue with the messages it sends and receives - but surely that would then mess up the YT stream?
