Your installer is third class.
1. when i have tried to install OBS, it said, you need two files to be installed first - they were visual c++ runtime files. i have downloaded and installed them.
2. again i run the installer, and this time, it said - download/update directx - okay did it.
3. again i run the installer, it has installed taking about 350mb disk space.
4. when i run the program - it says - <Failed to initialize video. your GPU may not be supported, or your graphics drivers may need to be updated.
I am using updated graphics drivers, may be GPU is not supported.
BUT BUT BUT
Can't you people make a pre-install script to check all those things that a system is compatible or not !!!
Is it able to run your software ?? So many Mbs of data i have wasted and finally it did not work. What kind of developers you people have appointed, you must develop such that a novice user can do it easily without wasting precious internet data. Its really very disappointing.
Wish the team good luck and hope the almighty God will bless'm a mind which keeps user in mind while developing.

Your GPU would have to be really old for it not to be supported by OBS, but you didn't mention which GPU you have.

If the installer included all the Visual Studio runtimes and DirectX, that would make it even bigger when most users don't actually need those files since they already have them. Your argument about saving data doesn't make sense, with the current setup you only need to download the files if you're missing them so that uses less data.

I guess it would be nice to be able to tell someone, "your GPU isn't supported" before making them download the other files.
