Hello, first of all, big thanks to the team for providing such an awesome software for free. I knew that there would be at least some issues, with OBS being beta software, so no hard feelings from my side. Video recording quality is superb for the file size.

Now to my (actually rather problematic) problem. When I start recording to file with OBS, suddenly out of nowhere, static / distortion / rattling / noise is coming from my mic. It's really intrusive and ruins the recording for me.
->The 3,5mm mic (Antlion Modmic 4.0) is connected to a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD (using the latest 2016 driver from Creative), which otherwise works flawlessly.
-> I tested the recording quality with the built-in Windows 10 recorder and Teamspeak, no distortion there whatsoever. As I said, the static comes up as soon as I hit record in OBS, and only there. The distortion I mentioned doesn't come up when I use the onboard audio, but then there's all kinds of other noise from the computer, as opposed to the crystal-clarity X-Fi.
-> I am using the AMD VCE Fork, but this doesn't have any impact on the issue.
-> I tried using lots of different settings in both the OBS settings (sample/bit rate, codec, Format) and the recording device settings in windows. No impact on the distortion.
I assume that this is some sort of incompatibility of OBS with the SB X-Fi, mainly on OBS's side, because the issue doesn't come up in other application's recordings. Is there something special / unusual to the way OBS accesses the microphone?
An idle recording I made with OBS: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gbq8c9l10d8trjy/OBS_Rec.mp4?dl=0
Same recording, but with windows capture. Same microphone / soundcard: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cotkvw1sp1n97uf/Win10_Rec.m4a?dl=0
my log file: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/25473aab31f55225fbfc4bfb1425a419
Help on this is much appreciated, thanks in advance.
