Question / Help Various problems with various microphones

Hello all.

First of all, I hope I'm in the right place to ask this question and I do hope it's quite an unheard one.

I have been using the Logitech G430 microphone for my first few streams but I wanted to change settings a little bit (mainly because I wanted to avoid wearing the headphones for too long) and started looking for a new independent microphone. I bought two of them - cheap ones - in order to test different things and it resulted in nothing but failed attempts.

For the first one, I chose a Tonor with USB connector (and a small stand) and I had trouble with the sound level. Basically, the level is way too low and I can't seem to fix it just by increasing the gain or putting the microphone close enough from my mouth. It seems - though I'm far from an expert - that I am missing some important parameters in the OBS settings.
The second one is a tie clip microphone with mini jack connector (Tonor/Lavalier as well) that exhibits a different issue. The sound level is good, and easy to set properly but every time I say something there is this weird noise (like a crackling noise that lingers as long as I speak). I thought it would be due to problems with the antiparasite gating system but once again, I can't find an easy fix.

I also don't understand why there are two places where we can set parameters for audio (in Parameters - Audio and in the Webcam parameters) and I don't exactly understand the differences...

Anyway, I hope my questions are clear and that someone may help me.

Have a nice day,
Crownless.
