I had a couple audio issues occur last night for the first time that I would like to make sure won't ever happen again. However, I need to understand what happened because I have no idea how this all happened. I've only just begun using this to record YouTube content and I am learning, but these audio problems have never happened before. I had to trash 4 hours of content because there is no way to fix it once recorded.
Everything started out fine for the first about 8 minutes into recording. Then suddenly the audio started to repeat, like a loop, playing over us talking and over the game audio. I could not tell if the game audio was doing the same, but our vocals clearly were. We recorded six videos and this was the first when it started. It lasted the entirety of that video clip. Stop recording, started the second. The issue persists into the second. And so on. However, in a later video, the vocals stop with the repeated loop and just become an echo. That echo persists for the remainder of that video and into the next clip. The 5th of 6th video then has the vocal echo stop, but then the game audio gets choppy. That lasts through the end of the 5th and then the entirety of the 6th. Like I said, I had to trash all of this.
So, the vocals begin as a repeated loop over and over 8 minutes in, eventually becoming an echo a couple hours later, and then correcting itself but the game audio then get choppy. Not only am I extremely upset about this, but wildly confused as to what this all was. If someone can explain this and then tell me what I can do to ensure it doesn't happen again would be great. I certainly cannot record xx:xx:xx amount of content, stop it, play it back immediately to make sure it's okay. All that would make for a longer recording night. Obviously I found all this out next day when I went to edit the footage. Here is what my set-up consists of:
Any help would be appreciated.
