Question / Help VAC - Audio offset - OBS 0.47

Hi, I am using Virtual Audio Cable for my audio with 500ms offset and I want to ask if I should use the "Global audio time offset -500" to sync it? I am asking because it doesnt really seem its out of sync and I was wondering if OBS somehow detects VAC and this step isnt required.

My personal advice would be to just record to a local file and check the sync and adjust accordingly until everything seems right. If everything is already in sync then no need I suppose
