Question / Help VAC 2 sound for my stream 1 sound to my headset

Hi guys,

I'm new to streaming and I wanted to do something but I have yet to find a way to do it.
I have my desktop browser playing pandora in Chrome and mumble going to my headset.

I want a way to stream my Desktop + Mumble to stream but I want to just listen to mumble in my headset. I dislike playing with music as I find it distracting but I feel people would enjoy listening to music + conversation in mumble.

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks in advance

You might not be able to do this with pandora. Browser sound always goes to the default playback device. Most games use this as well. So if you dont want to hear the music you would also not hear game sound anymore. Because the setup would normally look like this:

VAC Line 1 -> default Playback device -> receives Game/Music
VAC Line 2 -> Mumble

Repeater -> VAC Line 1 -> VAC Line 3
Repeater -> VAC Line 2 -> VAC Line 3
OBS uses Line3 for desktop audio -> everything Game/Music/Mumble is on stream

Repeater VAC Line 2 -> Headset
you hear mumble but not game sound.

If you use an audio player that allows you to select the output device, for example foobar or winamp, you could simplify the whole setup:
VAC Line1 is default device -> Mumble and game goes there
Repeater -> VAC Line 1 -> VAC Line 2
Repeater -> VAC Line 1 -> Headset
Music player uses Line 2 for Output and OBS uses Line 2 as desktop audio sound.
