V28 runs like rubbish. Attempts to back-grade to 27 is Spitting errors.

Alright alright legends!
I only stream Left 4 Dead 2, an easy game, CPU heavy, sure. But easy. Upgraded mindlessly to v28. My FPS dropped from 250+ to 40-60.
I realised it was OBS performing horridly.
But now, upon attempts to re-install archived versions of OBS, I'm getting nothing but crashes.
Hmm.... Manufactured me thinks!

This is causing the crash: nvvirtualcamerafilter_x64.dll
That's from nvidia.
Nvidia Broadcast was causing issues during install. I force closed all NVIDIA programs and even services. As many as I could before killing my GPU.

So what's the next step?

And you may want to do a proper install of the nvidia broadcast and sdk if you where trying to install them. Or remove if you're not gonna use them.

So for me to down-grade to a more optimized OBS (Pre 28), I need to re-install, not only my drivers, but my NVBroadcast?
Which ran perfectly on these drivers and NVBroadcast versions prior to 28.

As I said, one can only rule out an outlier. So far, it's still OBS 28.

Thanks for your input, I'll start looking into more optimized and curated software's such as Twitch Studio.

The crash has nothing to do with OBS as you mentioned before with issues during install of other software.
You probably need to start clean with the computer. That is format and reintall windows and start from there.
