I'm trying to record lossless 1080 60 fps in RGB format. It works great if I use huffyuv or ffvhuff, except there is occasional garbage at the top of the image:
I noticed that utvideo doesn't cause this, however the resulting output is not lossless nor RGB (instead it converts to yuv444p). There is some loss occurring as well as color distortion. It's hard to notice with the above game, so here are screenshots of a more pixelated game that uses mostly solid colors instead of gradients:
