Question / Help Using two same type webcams

I'm using two Logitech c270 webcams as my only sources. I was told before that this might cause a problem and the first time I set up my scene, it did. Whichever cam was above the other in the source list in the scene would show up, however the other would not. So I made them global sources and BAM! Everything works beautifully.

Fast forward a few weeks.. everything has been working perfectly. Then I rename the cams and they disappear.. So I says to myself "Hey, it's cool. Just add those sources again and bing bang boom, you're cookin' with gas." No dice, my friends. Now I'm back to square one with the camera on top working fine and the other being blank. Also, I've noticed that I can set up separate scenes.. One with the first cam and one with the second. Whichever cam I set up first works and the second will not. I've tried reinstalling everything I own and to no avail. I've tried adding the sources back, removing them, adding them again, etc. I've tried installing new drivers and reinstalling OBS and everything I can think of and it is not working.

I'm in a bit of a pickle, because the big tournament is coming up June 1st.. I had this all worked out and now I'm worried I might be out of luck for streaming and recording which isn't tolerable. Have any of you had problems using two of the same types of cams as two different sources? I read in an Xsplit forum that doesn't work in Xsplit. Since they both share the same driver it only recognizes one cam per driver. Does anybody know a way I maybe could set my cams on separate drivers to test the theory?
