Using OBS for livestreaming on YouTube and OBS virtual camera for Zoom at the same time

We presently use OBS for livestreaming from a camera (via Camlink) to youtube. We would also like to open a zoom meeting and use OBS virtual camera in zoom for video and audio. Is it possible to do both this at the same time? That way our 'participants' can either watch on YouTube or watch via zoom. Does starting the virtual camera stop the live streaming or affect the performance in any way?

Did you manage to get this to work?
I need to live stream on FB & Youtube but don't know where to enter stream key & stream URL for virtual camera.

@deonholt Totally different problem than those from the topic owner.
Zoom awaits a (virtual) camera. You, for FB, have to supply a complete second stream as well as the one for YT. I may remember that there is an plugin for obs available that splits your stream to different platforms. That is, what you want.

But be aware: It means you need double(!) upstream bandwidth from your event location. If that doesn't fit, you need either a (non-free) service on the net who doubles/splits your single stream to your target platforms, or (for IT aware people) set up a rootserver on the net by yourself as rtmp relay. (The last two solutions mean you stream once with your available bandwidth from your location to the internet, then your stream will be doubled/splitted there.)

Where are you located?

Did you ever get a response to this? I'm looking at doing something similar. Use OBS Virtual Cam to stream to NoFilter.net but would like to stream simultaneously to YouTube via OBS.

VCam and streaming are completely independent from each other. Set up both independently, do both, and watch it work.

What is NOT possible, at least not without a hack, is to stream to two network services at the same time. OBS only does one...officially.
The hack is to put the second URL into the filepath for recording, but of course you lose the ability to actually record that way.

What *might* be possible, is to install a restreamer, either on the same machine as OBS or on a different machine that has a good internet connection. ('cause it's going to have multiple simultaneous outgoing streams) A Raspberry Pi or a smartphone should be okay to run the restreamer, as it's only *copying* data, not creating it like OBS does.
Set OBS to stream to the restreamer, only, and then set up the restreamer to copy it everywhere. Here's one:
