Question / Help Using OBS as Audio Input?

Ok, so... Odd question.

I am using some awesome filters on my mic input in OBS. Things to improve/change my voice etc These filters are VST plugins. For example the SoundToys tools.

Is there a way to have this affect my voice on Discord? I ask given that there are third-party apps like VoiceMod that show up on Discord as a "Input Device" and you're able to use the audio coming from those devices as the audio input.

Is there any way I can do this with OBS. Have the mic input in OBS be the input in Discord. It sounds like something that is possible but I can't figure it out. Tired. Haha

Thank you in advance!

I understand what you are trying to accomplish but I don't think OBS can do that.

I would instead recommend you use a free VST host program(search google). A VST host will affect your input Audio for all your programs not just OBS or Discord, for example it will also effect your ingame voice chats as well. If you need free plugins for your VST host program, google reaplugs and download and install those. Reaplugs comes with a free equalizer, compressor, expander, limiter, and many other effects you can add to your voice that improve quality. Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions feel free to ask. There are also many videos on how to setup a VST host with reaplugs on youtube in case you need videos.
