Using OBS and Splitter for 1 monitor

Hello all.
I'm having issues regarding my Video Capture with OBS.
I lost 1 monitor from the 2 I have, I play using a PS4 connected to OBS with Video Capture device (El Gato HD60+).
And I'm using an external splitter to connect both PC and PS4 to the monitor (because my monitor only have 1 HDMI input).

When I connect everything it's working fine, but once I change the splitter input to the PlayStation, the capture in the OBS stops.
My animated overlay keeps working fine, but the video capture freezes.

Is there any way to work around this ?

I don't believe you can run OBS "headless", which you would be doing when you switch the monitor from being attached to the PC to the PS4. You might try buying one of those dongles that tricks the PC into thinking it has a monitor attached when it doesn't, or play the game through the capture device into OBS, watching the game on OBS. ( I know, not optimal, but with only one monitor, it may be the only way for you).

Ok, that's sad, guess I have to wait until i buy a new monitor.
