Question / Help Using mic playback as audio source in OBS

Here's my setup. I have a 3.5mm audio cord going from the headphone jack of my PSP to the mic jack of my computer. My goal is to have this audio be captured by OBS for livestreaming to Twitch. The reason I need to use the headphone port for sound output from the PSP is because I am using homebrew software to output the video via USB, which does not capture sound.

With the cord going from the PSP headphone jack to my PC's mic jack, I enable the setting which is circled above, and the PSP sound comes beautifully out of my PC speakers. I now have my PSP video and audio coming from my computer.

However, when I open OBS, it does not seem to be detecting the audio I'm hearing. Despite that the PSP sound is coming from my PC speakers, selecting my speakers as the Desktop Audio Device in OBS results in silence.

I'm not sure what to do, and any help is greatly appreciated.

Looks like I figured it out on my own. Here's what I did to get it working:

In Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound, under the Recording tab, right click and tick both "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices". This revealed Stereo Mix as an audio input device. Right-click Stereo Mix and click "Enable", and "Set as Default Device".

Then I went to %appdata%\obs\profiles and added one line to my profile's .ini file. Under [Audio] I added: InputDevicesForDesktopSound=1

Then, in OBS's settings, I selected Stereo Mix as the Desktop Audio Device, and disabled my Microphone/Auxiliary Audio Device.

The audio then streamed properly. This setup doesn't let me use a mic alongside the game audio, since I'm using my mic input for the game audio instead, but that's due to me lacking the hardware to support both. If I had the means to acquire a USB mic, I suspect that would work alongside this audio setup for the PSP.
