Question / Help Using Intel HD4000 for encoding?

Hello,

I got a laptop with Intel HD4000 and Gefore 740M.
It's not possible to set multi monitor in BIOS.
Could it still be possible to let my HD4000 do the encoding?
Now I got some 'lags' with streaming.
It looks quite nice, but I think the stream quality will improve if Intel will do this, so my CPU doesn't peak.

Any suggestions?

Your laptop is lagging because your settings are unreasonable. 720p45 at the medium preset is probably not viable for your CPU. Using Quick Sync will let your HD4000 handle encoding but the stream won't look as good.

Under Settings > Encoding select Quick Sync. Under Settings > Video set the adapter to the first one in the list regardless of what it is. Also be sure to read the note about QSVHelper.exe since you're trying to use Quick Sync.
