Question / Help Using i5 As A stream PC

My first post here and i hope this is the right section! I have my main gaming rig. I also have my old gaming rig. My main rig has an i7 3770k @3.5 GHz. My second rig has an i5 3570k @ 3.4 GHz. I currently stream and play games with just my main rig. Which when i encode at 60fps it can't get 60fps because BF4 puts a lot of load on the CPU. My question is, is using the i5 rig as a separate stream pc a wise choice? I'm worried that with all it would be encoding, which would be 60fps at 1080p, it couldn't get a smooth stream. I have 60-80 megs down on avg, and 4 megs up and i currently encode at 2400. Would probably get a black magic design capture card, and just use a duplicate displays for it instead of getting an hdmi splitter. thanks for the helps guys.

Video encoding will make better use of an i7 than a game will. You will be able to stream with an i5, but you will be able to stream better with an i7, and probably won't see that much of a dip in game performance.
